PRINCIPAL ‘S MESSAGE

            All Praises and Glory be to God “The function of Education is to teach one

to think intensively and critically; intelligence plus character that is the goal

of true education”.

            As the Principal of St.Mary’s Matric.Girls Hr.Sec.School, I deem it a

great privilege to bring forth our school magazine MILIR – 2023 which

showcases the imbibed talents of our girls.

“Education is the bedrock of any vibrant society. Nothing is more

rewarding than enabling students to shape their own destiny”.

                            Our students excel in their areas of interest and expertise to a great

pride in their achievements. Throughout the year our students represented

the school in Sports, Academic and Co-curricular events at the District, State

and National levels. The school conducts an array of activities throughout

the year to bring out all the skills among the students.

This edition of the school magazine MILIR - 2023, gives space to

imagination and unlocks the thoughts and values of students and staff. It

unfolds a wide spectrum of creative skills which includes not only writing and

designing but also editing the magazine.

The creativity found in students and because of the strenuous efforts of

the editorial board which brought out the magazine praiseworthy. I take

this opportunity to thank our beloved Management for their blessings, and

my great team of Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff who are a wonderful

strength to our institution. I also express my heartfelt thanks to our readers,

well –wishers & PTA members.

            I strongly feel that education is a blend of academic excellence and

creativity, As the Principal of SMG, my motto is to encourage and empower

our students to grow into a strong, reflective and humble individual with

discerning minds.
