True to the above line the plush and vast library in St.Mary’s Matric Girls’ Hr.Sec.School is a pleasant and exploring space for the students. The recently renovated library was inaugurated in the year 2018.The mammoth library caters to the needs and quenches the thirst of knowledge of students seeking information to excel in their young student days in school.The library is spread over an area of 1800 sq.feet with all modern furnishings. It is a place where students sit comfortably to read and devour the innumerable books that are available in the library.

          Books from all subjects such as Science, Maths, History, Geography, Computer Science, English Literature, Tamil Literature, Accountancy, Commerce, Economics etc. with loads of facts entice the students to spend their valuable time in the library,to enhance their reading and writing abilities and to gain knowledge to prepare for school and Inter school competitions like quiz,essay writing and elocution.

        NEET and JEE books attract the higher secondary students who aspire to become future doctors and engineers. These books help them to prepare meticulously for their National level Medical and Engineering Entrance Examinations to score high marks and to get admission into prestigious medical and engineering colleges.The prized collection of  reference books, Encyclopedias  and  Britannicas store precious facts of Who,What,When and A To Z of everything.  Newspapers and magazines offer current news and articles from all the fields,developments and researches around the world.

The library in St. Mary’s Matric Girls’ Hr. Sec. School is the finest in infrastructure,ambience and collection of books.More than 5,000 books are stored for the varied purpose of the student community and teaching fraternity.
